I’ve been hearing about VASER LipoSelection®; what is this procedure?

This is a new liposuction procedure that produces very minimal pain and bruising and combines patented technologies with advanced surgical techniques to contour the body and remove unwanted deposits of fat.

How does it work?

Using ultrasonic energy, this technique breaks up fat while leaving surrounding tissue (nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue) virtually undisturbed. Dr. Jerrold C. What can I expect during the actual procedure?

The very first thing to expect is Dr. Gendler and his staff will fill the area to be sculpted with a special saline solution that numbs the site and shrinks the blood vessels. This solution also wets and fills the treated area, making the fat easier to break up with the ultrasonic energy. Then a small probe transmits sound energy that breaks up the fat on contact, leaving other tissues intact. Suction and massage of the site removes the fat quickly and virtually painlessly.
